Overview; a exhibition by Lewis Teague Wright at SAMUEL, Chicago.
In ‘Overview', Teague Wright has invited 36 artists to submit a flag based on the Earth Day Flag. The flag was invented by John McConnell in 1969 as a symbol of environmental protection. The title plays reference to the Overview Effect; a sensation felt by astronauts as they take their first glimpse of the Earth, orbiting above us, struck with the insignificance of life on our planet.
